New Orleans Chapter Meeting
November 25 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm CST
Parents, youth, and community members in the New Orleans area will meet to create fellowship and strengthen leadership to support our youth and address the ongoing failures of our education and youth justice systems.
At the November meeting, we will be hosting our annual “Step Into Joy” event, where we come together to create holiday gift bags for incarcerated youth. These bags will include essential items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks, and other much-needed supplies. It’s a special way to bring some holiday cheer to young people in youth facilities across the state.
In addition to crafting gifts, we will also be reflecting on the recent election results and discussing how we can continue to push forward with our No More Prisons Campaign. This campaign remains vital as we work together to end the mass incarceration of youth, particularly in the wake of the election and its implications for criminal justice reform.
Join us for a time of fun, solidarity, and action as we come together for a brighter, more just future for our youth.
