Stand in Love

January 1, 2022 - February 9, 2022

This Valentine’s Day, FFLIC is celebrating our sixth annual “Stand in Love” campaign to ask our supporters to create cards and video messages for incarcerated youth who are locked in prisons away from their families on this annual day of love. The past couple of years has been especially difficult and isolating for our youth due to the pandemic and the resulting isolation, as well as racial violence and severe weather events. Your encouraging words are needed more than ever!

MAKE AND SEND CARD
There are several options for making a card. You can:

  1. Make a card by hand like you used to in school.
  2. Buy a card from your nearest store.
  3. Download one of our pre-made cards in our shared file, print it, and personalize the card by coloring the front of it.
  4. Use the phone app Postagram at https://sincerely.com/postagram which enables you to use photos from Instagram, Facebook and your camera roll to mail a postcard directly to the recipient without having to print. (Use the address listed below)
  5. Use the website https://www.postable.com/ which enables you to choose a card or use a photo from your files to mail a greeting card or postcard directly to the recipient without having to print. (Use the address listed below)

Whichever you choose, please include a simple message like “we are thinking of you” as well as your first name only, your city and your state. Please do not make any promises to our youth!
